My personal largest was nearly 200,000 poke *(sorry, thats what i call it poe-kay).
in the region of 180,000 poke.
no cheats.
if anyone replies 999,999 poke, i'll be suspicious...

Seriously I've had the maximum amount on my Diamond. I'd completed the league well over 100 times and re-vsing trainers had all contributed. I also sold the high priced items that had no use to me. For instance the pearl. Though my money is going down since diamond was my main game, (though Platinum took over which was taken by SoulSilver) and now I use Diamond for breeding good natures and IV's, so my money is depleting.

Though on my Platinum I'm on a 'money crises' with 1000 Poke left... All those game corner visits to get tm's.

Well that was at at time when I didn't look at Natures, EV's, etc; so I'd use the E4 to get my Pokemon to Lv100, additionally gaining lots of 'poke' at the same time. Obviously now that I do find these factors important, my 'poke' coinsidentally has fallen.

My max was actually 999,999 because i used action replay to get an item which it always gives you infinite so i sold the rest giving me tons of money.
